Fuel for Father’s Day

Awareness campaign for MAF Australia

Fuel for Father’s Day began with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) asking a question: How do we build a relationship with more churches without compromising their existing mission giving? Our challenge was to try and create an ‘ownable’ campaign – a day in the calendar year for churches to remember MAF’s work.

The solution

We worked to develop a scalable campaign concept – built around inviting church members to make a simple gift card purchase on Father’s Day. We used the design of a beat-up jerry can as a symbol for MAF’s work – connecting with the “engineer minded” supporter base, while telling our unique brand story.

The campaign was supported with:
– Church engagement pack (everything a church needs to promote the campaign itself)
– eCommerce store (Shopify) for physical + digital gifts
– Campaign Video (and song!)
– Digital promotion through paid and organic social media
– The campaign introduced a now strong ambassador, Colin Buchanan, to MAF
