FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
We worked with Scripture Union NSW to develop their EOFY fundraising campaign strategy – raising support for their ministry work in schools. We interviewed Scripture teachers in public schools, ministry workers and student leaders to get a wide picture of the current landscape.
We developed a called to action our audience could stand behind : ‘Back the Brave’. This messaging strategy centres around supporting the students who run the groups that meet in public schools every week. They are truly the brave ones, sharing openly and talking about faith in what can be a tricky setting.
We brought this message to life through a visual identity featuring hand drawn illustrations from the school yard, and photography which revealed everyday school students as lights to their peers.
Deliverables included a landing page, Marketing emails, designing and scheduling social media content, appeal letters to supporters and even organised an interview on HOPE 103.2 radio station. At the conclusion of the campaign, SU NSW raised a total of $800,000 – reaching their initial fundraising goal.
