Refugee Advice & Casework Services (RACS) approached Cadence to produce a series of videos for their EOFY fundraising campaign. As an organisation providing free legal help to people seeking protection in Australia, RACS wanted to share a client’s success story to show the real-world impact of their work. With a limited budget, our challenge was to capture an interview, B-roll, and photography for a landing page and social posts, all while respecting the sensitive nature of the client’s story.

Maximising reach through storytelling

Working within a set budget, we focused on creating versatile content that could be used across different platforms. We shot the interviews in both landscape and portrait formats to ensure the footage was suitable for everything from website landing pages to mobile-first social feeds. This approach allowed RACS to get the most value out of a single interview session.

We delivered a hero video along with four short social media reels, each focusing on a different part of Maggie’s story. RACS shared the series on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, where the videos helped the organisation meet their fundraising goals for the appeal.
